    East Essex Hackspace

Open 24/7 for people who have had an induction for the fire safety and security - we charge £10 a month for access to the workshops 24/7 and £5 lifetime membership. Pays bills and for replacing equipment. Some tools like the laser have a nominal charge of £5ph to cover replacement parts...

    East Essex Hackspace

Hi all, I did check the rules and I'm not sure whether this counts as "commercial" as we are a workshop charity like some mens sheds. I setup East Essex Hackspace with gear I bought off here, it's based in Hawkwell partnered with Remap as well (a charity which makes custom things for disabled...

    Bowl Gouges

Hi All, based in Essex at a place called East Essex Hackspace. We are a workshop charity - looking for a set of bowl gouges for our lathe. Would rather get a reasonable set rather than ones made of chinesium. Any available (ideally nearby or willing to post)

    Swapping out my garage

So a few things are about to happen to my workshop. First of, it's being knocked down. It's being replaced almost exactly the same - about 4ft longer and with foundations and a proper concrete base, slightly higher roof, less rotted door & non lethal electrics. Plan is to leave all my gear...

    Introduction of sorts

Neither do I frankly! Especially since the fusebox I use in the garage is my brewing one...

    Introduction of sorts

Hi, didn't seem to be a general thread, so I thought I'd make myself known. I'm a man of many talents and a master of none. Currently taking a break from work to spend more time with the family and erm, do some woodworking (which is kind of the opposite of spending time with the family). I...

    Cameras

Not usually the camera bodies that are worth the money - they're relatively cheap. The glass (lenses) are the expensive bit!
