Received my order from Scawton Sawmills,excellent service,price and product.Machined a few planks up and it is lovely timber I will definitely be using them in the future.Price was £45 a cu ft about a quarter of what Hymor wanted,I’m sorry but won’t be bothering them again.

Well ordered from Scawtons,good price about £45 a cubic foot,supposed to be delivered today but just called then because of no show and told it will be tomorrow now so lost a day.Hope it’s good stuff when it does arrive,I’ll keep you posted.

Yes I did ask but no proper answer,I did ask them to double check the amount but it came to the same amount I won’t bother with them again.Looking at Scawtons website I can buy 10 cu ft for £300 so I will give them a go.

Just cancelled the order no problems but it’s sad to see a good old company go bad in this way,now got to find a good seller I’m going to try Scawton to see what they can do.Thanks for the help and I will let you know how I go on.

Just had Arun over to Stoke to my favourite timber supplier,I go to sort out what timber I want and then bring it away,I wanted 10 lengths of joinery grade oak so not the dearest.10 lengths 2 m long of 200 x25 ,I almost dropped to the floor when the price was£570.That’s a real price hikeand...

I used the product called Caberfloor,it is smooth and takes paint well

Does anyone own the Laguna 16 32 drum sander? I am considering buying one but have no experience with drum sanders, I need advice as to whether this small sander would be useful for small projects and which model in the £1500 budget would be the best model to go for.

Lovely box,you should make more the more you make the more efficient you will be and the more money you will make to keep the workshop running.You are obviously very skilled and producing a high end project that many can only aspire to including myself.
