Hello mate, this spreadsheet is pretty informative on the subject of static pressure for a woodworking shop (link below). Incidentally I just scratch built a cyclone from 0.75mm lexan and plywood. I'm pulling through a 1HP blower and filter in a small shop with 100mm steel ducting to 4 machines...

Thanks for the response Chris. Would that be buying van dyke pigment powder and diluting it in water? And sealing... just use polyurethane varnish? Or shellac or something? I'm not sure on the pros and cons here.
