    Selling Advice

I've got a fairly expensive HiFi item for sale on the Bay. Although it's listed "Collection Only" I've had an offer from someone in Hong Kong - should I be very wary? Not to sure of the ins and outs of selling stuff abroad through the Bay, though I have bought stuff from foreign lands with no...

    Oh Dear

I was preparing a piece of softwood to repair a window cill. Rather than use my router table I dug out my Marples 044 to cut a rain drip. Things were going fine until I hit a knot then a metal hitting floor sound as bits fell down: Don't think it is repairable? :( Rod

A metalworking friend posted these links onto me as he knew I used to dabble in knife making. The CNC machine is amazing but I dread to think if it's cost. The attention to detail and finish of the Traditional Method maker is incredible. Post these titles in UTube search: 'Knifemaking...

    Moulding Planes

There's a new series started in the F&C about moulding planes, by an anonymous author which I strongly suspect is Richard Arnold ? But why the anonymity - I've noticed a few times that F&C don't always name the writers - which is even more strange in this case as he talks about his history? Rod
