    Laying Laminate Floor, moisture content?

Conservatory. Removed old cracked ceramic tiles and adhesive, down to slab. Self leveling compound poured 10 days ago and dehumidifier has been running for 5 days, moisture now still varies between 4.5 and 7% in different areas. Laminate instructions specify slab moisture content of <1.8%...

    Importing machinery UK to Ireland

I don't know if there is anything in the UK/Irish agreements covering this but I do know folks are taking a hammering for duty and VAT when importing personal gear into other EU countries such as Portugal and Spain. There's maybe a possible avoidance route to Ireland via NI worth exploring.

    SIP Dust Extractor 01954

Mine's buried behind other gear with a longish hose I drag to whatever I'm using so I bridged the fitted NVR switch and use a wireless operated 13a plug-in switch, which is also an NVR.

    SIP Dust Extractor 01954

    SIP Dust Extractor 01954

It appears identical to the Charnwood W691 which I have and that's quoted as - Dimensions 900 x 560 x 1950mm . I fitted a pleated fine filter from Scott & Sargeant which is a bit lower than the cloth filter but not at home to measure.

    Router table pocket problem

The way I have done it (not on router table) was to use a top bearing guided cutter with a jig, firstly I cut half way through to form what will be the lip. Then I reduced the size of the jig with some strips the size of the lip, then cut the centre out in several passes.

    Dust extractor mounting

If it's the model I suspect, it has larger than normal hose and outlet IIRC 5". If so, P & J may be able to supply new bag, that one looks a bit leaky.

    Dust extractor mounting

Looks identical to the P & J one I had years ago, designed to be used with waste bag bottom mounted. As Ozi suggests, it needs to be mounted lower so the bag just clears the floor.

As well as Ryobi, I have a small Bosch screwdriver which is very handy in tight spaces or light duty work such as drawer slides, hinges, knobs etc. This seems to be the current model - Bosch IXO Basic 3.6V 1.5Ah Li-Ion Cordless Screwdriver | Electric Screwdrivers | Screwfix.com

    Sliding Mitre Gauge different slides

I sorted out the sloppiness in RP band saw mitre gauge by inducing a very slight bow across the width in the centre of it's length, plus another tap at the outer/user end to realign gauge.
