    Pogačar or Vingegaard? Spoiler Alert

Grand Départ Saturday out of Bilbao and it's a climber's race this year. Young Yates and Pidcock might get a look in. Be nice to see Cavendish get one more but chances will be slim.

    Titanic

Time seems to be running out. Hindsight etc but was there a viable back-up/emergency system of some sort that would have helped in this situation? I'm in two minds about treating what is essentially a graveyard as a tourist attraction, albeit to those that can afford it.

Square stock- square or long tenons?

Stock is 45 x 45mm. Which is best? Square or rectangular tenons? It’s for a frame on a tall window type seat with storage, approximately 1,700mm long, 500 wide, 1,000 high. Round would be interesting but not this time. TIA.

Building a Grand Tour/ Tour de France bike

A fantastic (and very satisfying) video If you've 18 mins spare. No cotter pins or rusty lock nuts...... In this case Romain Bardet's T de F Scott Foil for the DSM team. Great climber and descender.

Stihl/Husqvarna chainsaw bars or cheaper generic type?

I've a few chainsaws and just wondering if anybody has experience/opinion on the cheaper replacement bars such as Rotatech, War Tec, Rocwood etc? OEM bars (and much else) are getting rather expensive. I fell trees, limb and cut logs a couple of times a week. TIA.

    Handforth parish council

Doing the rounds on SM. Is this typical of many parish councils? And why do they exist, the rest of the UK seems to get by without them? Entertaining, muting isn't big in Handforth:

    Battery chargers - be careful

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-55317414 I recall some years ago a member mentioning a charger igniting and destroying their home. Personally I've got into the habit (mostly) of not leaving batteries on charge overnight. Interesting point ref eBay's responsibility in the matter.
