    Marples No2200 square restoration questions

Buy a new one (you can get for about £20) instead of keeping an out of true rusty pockmarked item - it will never feel good or easy to use

Are these chair parts commercially available?...

A chair manufacturing factory? But the cost would most likely be prohibitive Depending on how many you need buy some used chairs and reuse these parts Ask a local wood/joinery shop for a price

Roof tiles on a glorified shed - need foundations?

Forget the roof - could the tiles be used to make a tile hung side that might help the structure merge into the environment?

Buying cheapest wood for woodwork practice in the UK

You have my thoughts in both my posts, I am not willing to enter a discussion about legal definitions. I cant imagine that you are legally able to enter someones property (trespass) and remove their possessions that happen to be in a rubbish skip.

Buying cheapest wood for woodwork practice in the UK

I'm not sure of the legalities of taking things from skips without asking the person who has put stuff in the skip but I think that whether the skip is in the road or a driveway its technically theft unless you have permission. So be aware

What tool should I buy next?

Hi Stuart Welcome to the world of wood and tools, you mentioned you are also fairly new to diy stuff. The electric tools you mention are good enough for the time being while you get used to using them but I suggest you buy a few hand tools as they might be easier to handle at this stage. I...
