    sorry, yes thats what I mean. Use a Victorian style, tapered octagonal column on a base. The shape of the base is your choice, can be for as many legs as you require to mount. Regards Norman

    Hi JB A jig saw could replace the band saw for the legs for the colm centre you could use vic style oct taper col on a base so no lathe required. Just a thought. simple hand tools only required. Have fun Norman

    Hi JB you may find what you are looking for in Antique auctions or junk shops, they often have the odd broken table for sale. But if you want new why not make your own not very hard to make from scratch. That way you get just what you want. Regards Norman

    could use a car heater connect to the pipework would save a lot of work. the ones I had came from a firm with 8 mill pipes, called Mini rad very cheap to run only had to heat about 20 ltrs of water with the main boiler to run about 10 rads. Regards Norman

    Hi wizer work in the same way as your car heater. Hot water pipes with a fan to drive the air over. They work very well . I had them fitted in one of the houses that I owned in the 70`s works in the same as normal c heating. also usefull as a cooler in the summer. Regard Norman
