    Which Adhesive?

I have liked the concrete tops when I've seen them on these TV house renovation type programmes, I think one of the best was a very large centre unit that I'm sure had the sink and hob built in. Not sure it's something I'd tackle myself though. I had planned to replace the tops this year funds...

    Which Adhesive?

I thought of Silicone, but not sure it's the right stuff to use in an area used for baking, kneading dough etc.

    Which Adhesive?

It's on rubber feet, they're not very thick but I was going to remove them so I don't have to remove too much of the worktop...

    Which Adhesive?

More advice than I'd anticipated, so thank you very much to everyone :D ... As Distinterior has said it's a laminate worktop, so I could do with a permanent seal around the Granite. I'm not bothered about removing it to clean, if it's sealed everything should be OK. It's three metre long the...

    Axminster Trade AT460SS?

The Multicut SE was a wonderful saw to use, never skipped a beat and vibration was minimal at full speed. The only thing I really didn't like was the insert plate not being level with the table, at nearly a grand it should be perfect...

    Axminster Trade AT460SS?

Appreciate the tips, not something I'd have thought of :D It'd take me a few weeks to buy new, a couple of hundred for used, and I'm good to go...

    Axminster Trade AT460SS?

I sent Brian a PM several days ago, but he might be a little busy :) Whatknot :D I read that Axminster had replaced the plastic bushes although like you, I would have been tempted to fit bearings...If you have used a Hegner, does the Axi cut as accurately?

    Axminster Trade AT460SS?

Is this scroll saw still a good buy? I regret having to sell my Hegner a few months back, didn't have a choice at the time. Hopefully things have changed! I've no chance of buying another Multicut SE and can pick the AT460 up for £450.00, as against £586 for the Multicut1...How is the Axminster...

Moose or Reindeer Robbo, folk love em, and they make cracking pressies, although I prefer to give them a good sanding :D

Perform P1400B Bandsaw...Hardwood Test, Max Cutting Depth

Sorry Pete, I meant to check earlier if you'rs had arrived. That shroud just blocks everything doesn't it, I left mine off once removed. I received a lovely metal fan cover replacement, sadly far too small, the correct one arrived yesterday so all is well. I asked one of the chaps at Axminster...

Perform P1400B Bandsaw...Hardwood Test, Max Cutting Depth

I can't remember where the plan came from, it was one a found a few years ago for the scroll saw, but if you PM me your email address I'll send it over :D They don't take too long once you've made a few, I can't remember which blade I used on the BS350, it had a few teeth to cut down on the...

Perform P1400B Bandsaw...Hardwood Test, Max Cutting Depth

I managed to make a few test cuts over the weekend. Just playing cutting up 12 mm ply, 18 mm MDF and some Oak around 50 mm. Today I decided to give it a real workout, more below. There was another piccy I wanted to take of the blade tensioning bolt and housing, every part is made of metal and...

Perform P1400B Bandsaw...Hardwood Test, Max Cutting Depth

That's it for now. I'll have a bit longer in the morning to make a few more cuts and there's a couple more piccies I want to take. I'm quite impressed so far, it runs a lot quieter than I expected with no noticeable vibration and as mentioned, it hasn't been bolted down yet.
