    Recommend drawer runners

And I agree with Peter! Grass undermounts are also excellent, I have used the Chinese copies and they are good value but made to a price. You pays yer money etc etc

    Tracksaw

Makita SP6000 for the win! Well worth the investment. With a 1m rail and a rail square you can cut panels with decent precision. TBF, I'm sure the Bosch is good but Makita rails being interchangable with Festool means the number of accessories is huge.

    Recommendations for Trad Joinery books

City and Guilds apprentices tend to use Brian Porter's Carpentry and Joinery. All three volumes are useful, vol 3 deals with outdoor buildings and cladding (and windows and stairs). Can pick them up for a few quid 2nd hand.

    Thicknessing wood on the bandsaw

My space isn't large enough for a usefully sized planer thicknesser but I've got a Sabre 350 and a Makita lunchbox thicknesser. I prep the face of sawn boards using a scrub plane followed by a number 7. As a hobbyist it really doesn't take that long and I enjoy the process and the workout...

    New workshop floor

Thanks for the tips all - I'd never imagined that paint increases the sound levels. g

    New workshop floor

Ta, the table is my first ever attempt at a bit of furniture. Just need the time to get it finished... along with skirting boards, painting the workshop walls etc etc

    True - I'll do something simple I guess. g

MFT tables - do you use them?

My ebay MFT3-style top and homemade table, with the clamps that came with the Makita tracksaw (that I only just realised can be used). I use Parf dogs from Axminster for the tracksaw, and the table for just about everything. It wheels nicely on my new ply floor!

    New workshop floor

My "workshop" is a 6 x 3m garage, so not huge but it does have a loft. My large tools are on castors but the floor was - well, okay for a garage but pretty rough concrete - ugly, cold and hard underfoot, and difficult to wheel things around on. Here's a low-angle view of the empty garage...

Formica faced ply for an airstream caravan interior.

Moreland also sell lightweight melamine-faced ply for vehicle fit-outs. The on-line shop is here: https://www.morland-uk.com/shop/vehicle-fit-out/lightweight-furniture-ply.html I normally use http://www.bristolpanelformers.co.uk/because they are local, and v. good. I'm surprised that Custard...

    External doors

http://www.russelltimbertech.co.uk/ did a good one for me, also recommended by others, but it depends on what price is too silly for you I guess.

    Cyclone system filters still clogging

Because I'm an silly person, when I first got my dust commander I connected the vacuum source to the horizontal port on the cyclone. That setup caught all the shavings in the dustbin but let dust through to block the filter.

Fitting Floating Shelves - Are these brackets Good or?

I've used many of the fixings the OP refers too and they are just fine, used within their limits. They allow one to adjust the height of the shelf by a couple of mm which I have found, ahem, handy should ones drill holes happen to be not quite level.

Post a photo of the last thing you made

Hi everyone, long term lurker, first time poster, newbie woodworker. I built this shoe rack after reading lots of posts from regulars so thanks to you all. It's ash, bought rough sawn from Clarks Wood in Bristol, with a couple of bits of laburnum rescued from my sister's log pile...
