    New Router Help

I have not used the course adjustment when used in table, but I do use it nearly all the time out of the table - I would really miss it now I have tried it. In table I tend to just use the winder handle, it is a bit on the slow side for bit changes but not to the point where it has become...

LOL yes I could see that problem but thought I would just leave that for you to discover/ worry about :D

    Getting a Website, etc.

The menu bar is not a huge issue I don't think, I would question the advice that people would go looking for a contact page though.. If you check most websites you will find contact us links positioned in the top level menu or header/ footer of every page - If someone feels they need to contact...

    Getting a Website, etc.

very nice :) I would suggest that you make the 'contact us' a main heading in the menu rather than having it as a sub item in extras - contact information is quite a vital part and should be clearly visible I think ;) I also wonder if maybe the menu could be a touch more 'Obvious' - not that I...

    triton 1400w router advice please

if you buy it from http://www.tritontools.uk.com/ it INCLUDES the Table winder handle.. I would strongly recommend you have a look there as it includes the table winder handle, also the accessory kit is only about £38 and includes the guide bush sub base, a load of guide bushes, alignment pin...

    triton 1400w router advice please

Ahhh.. Mystery solved.. Previously I was looking on the uk.com site... http://www.tritontools.uk.com/routers.html#MOF001 The MOF001 includes said handle from that website but warns that it is NOT supplied as standard with that router.

    triton 1400w router advice please

It is compatible with the winder, but the winder is not included with the MOF router and so you have to get the accessory pack.. Or at least it was when I bought my TRB001 - However the website appears to have had a significant upgrade and now no longer lists the TRB001 so the situation may have...

Mortice & tenon glue line thickness

I already have a cat wheel, different design to this completely. My two bengals spend a huge amount of time in it, they fight over it even! The two moggies have never been near it and just seek out a warm spot to sleep

Yes I agree, the larger one is not HUGE but it is somewhat heavier and larger. I think you will be quite pleased with it, I know I am ;)

    triton 1400w router advice please

A siggy says the spindle lock is mechanically interlocked to the cover on the switch so you have to turn the router off with its own switch to change bits. But that is a very small inconvenience when table mounted IMO, and of all the safety devices probably one of the best thought out ones I...

    Lightbulbs and Polystyrene

Depends on the cable.. PVC cable (twin and earth) will deteriorate if in direct contact with polystyrene, the plasticiser in the PVC will migrate into the polystyrene resulting in the cable becoming brittle and liable to failure of the insulation. Placing PVC cables in direct contact with...

    bisuit jointing with a router

It's possible but not quite as good in that the slot will not conform to the biscuit shape as well, not sure how much difference that makes to the strength.

    Lightbulbs and Polystyrene

I think one lamp would be sufficient ;)

    Lightbulbs and Polystyrene

I would just do away with the insulation, make sure there is a way for air to pass through the shelves and stick a pigmy bulb in the bottom. All you need is a close fitting door to keep the warmth in.

    what speed the router ?

Isn't speed more related to bit size/ type than the cut? I thought reducing the speed was needed for larger diameter bits as a safety issue?
