    Axi 250 PT is what I'm hoping to buy mid May 2020 I would like to know what chip extractor you would use for this as I don't think my Record Power RSDE1 would cope ??

    so here is the table I'm just going to add a finish to it before I glue up and add a flood coat to the top I am going to use as recommended by Mike Oil/varnish/white spirt So I have Osmo top oil/ Ronseal Varnish I'm going to use

    Raw69 Yes I taped up with frog tape then hot melt glued some acrylic to the side and then used a syringe to add the resin. just remember to wax the acrylic first

    Seal the top with hot melt glue and Acrylic turn the work top over, then drill a small hole then pour the resin and brass mix in. So you are working the worktop upside down

    brass mix will sink apply your mix BUT if you turn the worktop upside down the brass will be in the right place. drill a small hole if you've filled all the gap

    Looking good Mike. if it smells it's NOT Epoxy resin it's poly resin. I've had some bad results with the poly resin and wood combination where the resin has not bonded with the wood and also poly resin will shrink a bit in height.
