    Fairly old,... mid 1800s maybe,... split nuts, so called "London pattern" handle, mitre box saw,... looks great!

    hand drill

    Put the chuck on a piece of wood and whack it with a wooden mallet a couple of times. I am assuming the chuck won't turn or the jaws won't release. Or take the chuck off and soak in vinegar. (After you de-grease.)

    Can you identify this tenon saw

    No clue! Not very old though, very flat sided handle. I guess the square hole is so the blade can move relative to the spine?

    There are a few makers that used the arrow, but I can't find one like that one. Looks like a shield in the center, and T, S isn't helping me.

    Hey Daryl, Welcome to "the other side", I got nothin' but I'm sure someone here can steer you in the right direction. It looks 1950-ish, give or take 10 years, but that's just based on the handle and on what other saw makers were doing at the time. Nice saw! :mrgreen:
