    What spindle tooling

Having just bought a second had Jet JWS-34 I now need to get some tooling. I'm guessing it's worth buying a block and just buy cutters/limiters as and when I need them. An Axminster store has just opened up 10 mins from me (Cardiff branch) so I was thinking of buying one of their blocks and...

Gift ideas for £15 & under?

I was asked by my wife to come up with gift ideas for £15 and under so that she can pass the list on to her parents & siblings. It's because I'd prefer them to spend money on something I'd actually like receiving than getting chocolates or smellies which just make me fat(ter) or smelly - not...

Adding draught seals to existing door frame

I'm looking for a way of adding draught seals to an existing external door frame? I really don't want to be using the ones you screw to the outside of the frame as they don't look too pleasant. I'll be putting a new door on that I salvaged from a customer where I replace their door and frame...

I have a customer who would like to match this dado rail for another room in his house. The 2 roundovers I can do, but the reeding I can't. Is there a cutter available for me to copy it on my router table? More importantly, will it be safe to do? (Probably not) The dado is 93mm tall...

Recommend suitable soft-close to use with Simonwerk Tectus

I'm looking at installing a door using Simonswerk Tectus concealed hinges. The door will be the thinnest I can get away with for the hinges. I think they said 22mm (I will check again first). The door will be about 450mm wide and a flat slab. The hinges are not soft close so I wanted to know...
