Hi I had a awss 18 but i sent it back after a few weeks as it did not take pinles blades. I now have awfs 18 which I would recommnend.

Hi I had my awfs for about 3 months changing blades 100,s of time and had no trouble with screws, but now I have quick release holders there are no screw,s to worry about. If you get Q/R blade holders it would solve your problem and make changing blades that much easier. Hope that makes sence

Yes, I found that the quick release holders made changing blades a lot quicker. Gofer

Hello I brought a AWFS18 about 4 months ago and i am very pleased with it. Blade change easy and even easer now I have quick release holders from Hegner, :D No vibration I do not even have it bolted to the bench. Barrie

Hi All I have brought quick release clamps from Mike (as recommended in a previous post) but they have a 6mm thread, my holders are 4 mm supplied by Hegner . Mike can not help!. Has any one any advive. Barrie

Edwin I do not think replacing g screws with thump screws will make any difference to the vibration, I have removed blade guard and anti-kick holder as i found they got in the way but thats a personal choice to make. The more you do the more confident you will come

Edwin You fix the blade in the bottom holder, then place holder and blade in machine , thread blade through wood and fasten blade to top hloder. it works for me
