    Plane info required

    Hi I picked up a Stanley skew 140 but it seems to have a 120 style lever adjuster. I have looked on line and can't find any others. It's stamped 140. Anybody have any knowledge of this type of plane?

    Kitchen update

    I want to (actually I dont, wife wants me too) update the kitchen, replace doors with shaker style but how hard is it to add face frames, what is the max width that I can have. I expect to have to make new draw boxes. Has anyone any experience of doing this?

    I was in Jewsons today and noticed that they had a big pile of 2" heavy duty spring clamps, tried them out, very strong spring, good quality. I asked how much they were and was shocked that they were £2.40 for a pack of 4, 60p each. I bought 6 packs of 4.

    New Woodworking Show on PBS

    Just a quick heads up, there is a woodworkIng show on The PBS Chanel 166 sky called Rough Cut woodworking with Tommy Mack I have watched a couple of episodes and found them very easy to watch and have learnt a few things too. Much better than Norm IMO. Next episode on at Fri 3:20 am !!
