    Legacy ornamental mill

Ihave the Legacy 2000,the largest one that they make. Its the only one of that particular model outside North America,(so I'm told). It will put a twist on a 13"x11ft column! To date, the biggest that I've done is 10"x102". It will do much more than just twist work though, it needs to,at...

    Xcalibur 805

Scrit, Dado blades in table saws are NOT,as you so often imply, illegal, they must, however, be guarded, which is EASIER to do than you might think! If a Tenoning jig is used, there is no way that the blade can be guarded!No-one, not even you, ever mentions that! I've been self-employed for...

    Wood Buying?

    Dakota tenoning jig help!

The maximum that the jig will extend to is 6 1/2", so, what I would do would be to fit 1/2" piece of ply to the face, there are already holes drilled for this purpose, that should make up the 7"from the slot to the blade. You will, however, have to make another pointer, as the slot in the stock one...

    Dakota tenoning jig help!

I have the very same tenoning jig that I use on my 12"Xcalibur tablesaw. In the base of the jig, there are two positions in which to fit the mitre guide rail, if you move it to the left hand slot, viewed from above, that will move the vertical work support face 1.1/2" closer to the blade. Hope...

    Woodfords lack of interest!

Phoned Woodfords this morning requesting information on Xcalibur 10" and 12"table saws, the guy I spoke to didn't have a clue, someone else phoned me back, he didn't have a clue either, said he'd find out, I am still waiting! Their website is rubbish, and it seems to be matched by their attitude. Do...

    Router lathe

Hi,Go to www.machines4wood.co.uk(Scott&Sargeant),click on lathes, and there you should find twist machine made by Killinger. It's a very good machine. For the first 4 years of running my own woodturning business, it was all I ever used for twist and fluted work. Hope this helps. TC
