    Hi sorry for the lack of info, first time at this...lol Yes it used to be a beam in a farmbuilding but only 4 inches think i would like to plane down to 3 inches to use for the top of a coffee table. my problem is i want to have the oak down both sides of the table top with re-inforced glass...

    Hi i have some reclaimed oak that is at least 200 years old, can anybody tell me if i can still expect movement in this wood after making it into a table..?
