    Blinding read this month ! The English furniture history is a great read aswell as the D and M interview . Great bit on wood turning chucks aswell as Andy Kings review on a sexy looking block plane . Theres some doors in there aswell but there a bit pants to be honest :D

    Are things getting sorted behind the scenes or is everyone hoping things will blow over ? I for one feel i have far to much of my work posted on here to just forget the warnings i've had for little or no reason . Plus i object to being spoken to like a naughty school boy ! Any updates ?

    Making a door

    Ok i know i have to finish making the window but ive been very busy its had to take a back seat . Only the stops to put on anyway . But i have been asked to make this door I wont be starting it for a few days so id like the forums opinions on how to do the arches at the top and the beading...

    Drum sanders

    I'm thinking of turning my tyzak spindle moulder into a drum sander with a spindle attachment , has anyone used these drums ? I was hoping to use it to clean up windows and cupboard doors , i'm hoping i can just run the stiles along the fence , hit the drum sander and have a nice cleaned up...

    I spoke to a forumite today that found my reaction to a customer banging on my door and then windows at 9pm quite amusing . Id done a quick £50 job for him a few months ago and we talked about his shop refurb comming up ( Right now so it seems ) Anyway for my own valid reasons i didn't answer...

    Ive just got my tenoning table from axminster for the Bursgreen spindle and wondered if anyone had a spare bonnet gaurd kicking around to sell ?

    To glue or not to glue

    I have a 3.3m x 2.0m gate to make . It will be running on a sliding thingy and the construction is TVG rebated into a M&T frame . I'm wondering if i should glue the TVG into the rebate and along the T&G or not . The idea of gluing it would be to add to the strengh of the gate . What say you guys ?

    Auto feed for the spindle moulder

    I bought this off Matt a while ago and set it up today to run off a load of window stiles i need . WHAT A TOOL !!!! (hammer) (hammer) (hammer) (hammer) (hammer) A couple of questions if i may ....... Sometimes the wheels slip on the timber and dont push it through , not very often ...

    Don't get me wrong i use modern joinery all the time but i think trad joinery will always last longer and make a quality piece .
