    I have some walnut offcuts from the storm of 1987. I am having a clear out. About 30 pieces at125 mm wide 8 mm thick about 1000 mm long. Also some waney edge with woodworm damage. I am near Dunmow Essex. Anyone interested ? John

    Douglas fir if you go for softwood, but it is expensive. Keruing a hardwood will be cheaper. John

    Simon As I have just registered, it appears I can not send PMs. I am also struggling to post a photo. I have two slabs, one at 2inch and one at 2.5 inch thick. They are about 1.8m by o.6m wide.Not dead straight. Barn stored for over 10 years Price is £120 per slab and say £40 to deliver them...
