Im drilling small holes in some wood blanks but around the hole small wedges of wood have come off. Is there anyway to prevent this happening?

Hi guys ANy idea where i can get lint free cloths from, to help clean glass?

I just got some microscope slides, I put a transparent picture between them, put the tape around the edges then solder it all the way round then solder jump rings and hange charms, swarovski stones from them. Ive only made one so far, kinda perdy but still got to practice more.

Forgot to ask,is it bad for me if its on my fingers and i accidently ingest it. I wouldnt do it on purpose.Should I immediately wash it off?

Ok, m'laddows(and maybe some ladies) I need to pick your brains. I have some copper tape and its going a bit green, ve been told its coz its reacting with the air.Can i just store in in an airtight container or do I need to take more drastic action?

I never though about lanterns, they are glass with a metal edge that is hinged in places, ideal!! This shim sheeting, is it sticky on the back or is it just plain metal sheets? I also thought about using square tubing to make a hinge, it will be easier to solder as its flat and wont roll off.

Found a place that can supply 100 micron tape but its a minimum of 20 rolls which will cost over £100!!!!!! Im not making any decisions til Ive tried the samples.
