i am a woodturner and I have just bought a engineers metal turning lathe.
Have managed to sort out most things apart from 'parting off'.
I have a 2 1/4 by 5" lump of metal in the lathe and have turned a morse taper that is to fit into a chuck.
the problem I am having is the parting off, so...
