    "I Feel Their Pain"

In rural areas here this is quite common but not rats mainly mice. They got into my panel and chewed the plastic to bare wires. Very lucky that a fire didn't happen. Shortly after this we had a lightning strike and a new breaker panel was covered under the insurance policy.

    "I Feel Their Pain"

Here in Canada we call it knob and tube. Many wide boys here have simply tied in new recepticles and switches in the respective boxes and claim to have re wired the house to code when the home is put on the market. Completely illegal of course and a lot were found out.

How did you make the cuts for the Tambour Gasman? Looking closely at your images I see no noticable distortion to the wood grain, amazing!.

    Table saw safety

The stress in lumber particularly Kiln Dried wood can surprise you quickly. I have ripped many a stud and ended up with the blade of a hockey stick. On my list is your book regarding wood technology. Who sells your book in Canada? Thanks

    Table saw safety

Makes a lot of sense. I have never seen a fence like this. Sounds if it is an after market item. I find if you look for twists, cupping and bowing of the wood to rip or cross cut will dictate whether it is safe to cut or not.
