Hello Members Can anyone tell me why axminster stopped selling their iwn branded mitre saws? Were their mitre saws actually Jet made and because they no longer have an association with Jet is the reason they dont have them? Thanks

Brilliant thanks. I should have said its not jamned in anyway quite the opposite, i cant secure or lock it in the upright position. I dont see any locking bolts or spring catches etc. Thanks for the manual

Hello guys I have acquired one of these sanders its great but i need a manual 1. To see if i am missing any parts and; 2. To see how to fix the belt into the upright position its got me baffled. If anyone can point me in either direction i would appreciate it. I cant find any manuals online...

Hi Axminster have the helical heads in the newer aw106pt2 models i restored a beat up aw106pt1 and wonder if the 106pt2 heads will fit but i dont live in uk so cant just pop in do you know if this is the case?

Theyre square headed but i find that a bad design. My metabo has hex bolts so am gonna try it. Cheers

I have a question with regards to these blades, i inherited one of these machines which isvin a terrible state. There was not a nut, bolt, screw or metal surface that wasn't rusted. The blades were stuck in and i had to knock the bolts out using a straightbpunch and hammer. Axminster dont have...

I hope you dont mind me jumping on here but ive just inherited onebof these its uber rusty but still runs and cuts. I cant get one of the blade bolts out as its been rounded off. The blade is stuck in so can i change the block? Also does the thicknesser bed come out?
