Do wood turners work with green burr or should I store it befor selling. some of the Apple burr is in huge 'lumps' up to 30 kg

Apple wood Burrs planks and trunks. We have been clearing mature orchard in worcestershire we have some large trunks up to 28 inch dia. And approx 200 “lumps“of Burr. Should I have the burr planked or keep it in large sections.

We are planning on planking some more trunks soon is 2 inch the best size

Approx 50 trunks between 16 -30 inch dia. 4-5 foot long most sound no rot have planked a few. Road side collection. Approx 200 “lumps“ of burr. Located in Abberley worcs.
