    ChatGPT - artificial intelligence.

Worked with a few graduates and uni really does nothing to prepare people for the reality of the workplace but it is important to focus on the fact it's called computer science. Plenty of interesting stuff in there don't get me wrong but like you say, understanding the theory behind entropy is...

    Adult tricycles

Not a cyclist myself but what about a recumbent trike? Much lower and stable than an upright trike.

    DIY wind turbine....

I can only recall seeing them used either off grid or in semi-commercial farm settings away from anyone who'd get annoyed by them. Kris Harbour on youtube has one setup as part of an offgrid system but it's a bit rough and ready, not the kind of thing you'd have in a domestic setting.

    Car dilemma

You have the choice to sell privatlely of course. There's a reason they can charge a premium and reasons they need to, they need to pay for a warranty, cleaning, repairs, rent, wages etc. etc. and people are more willing to buy from a dealer than private because they have some comeback if...

    Used P/T Combo

I have a Scheppach HMS2600CI and it's pretty good, heavy as flip. I'd love to know where to get spares from though. If it's a complete machine though it seems to be built like a tank, only thing missing on mine is the arm for the planer gaurd (I just slide the fence all the way over to avoid...

    Scroll saw recommendations

It looks like you're starting out with a Rolls Royce of a saw! My go to for ideas and even plans for work is this Scroll Saw Workshop Catalog great resource! I'm just using a cheapo Scheppach saw it's fine but the only thing that frustrates is blade changes. Seems they over estimated the dust...

For my dad's birthday, lot of scroll work and lots of mistakes but it came out ok for the most part.

Had a go at a bit of "art". Frames made from offcuts of the shelves below with a beech ply bit of scroll saw work and a photo to back it all. Will eventually mount them on the wall. While mitres are always a bit of a faff with my gear they turned out ok.

Suggest a water can/bottle/container to feed the dog jet wash

Something from the world of camping maybe like Slim Water Container 10 litre | Plastic Jerry Can ? If you wanted a lot more like 100L you could look at some of the mobile valeting supplies but then you might not fit the dog in the care too!

Two parrots are sitting on a perch. One says to the other 'can you smell a fish?'

    Antique Saw Restoration

I've done a few old saws, mainly back saws but I'd say you've taken it far enough with the blade and likely as far as is practical/possible. You can only do so much when the metal is pitted. I've got a Frankenstein saw from 70's and 60's parts of two saws because the older ones blade was so bad...

Creating a burr on a scraper

I didn't even know you could sharpen one with a grinder. I've used some screwdrivers in the past to get the burr on them. When I do them I put them at the edge of a bench to get the burr started and move to them into a vice to flair out and angle the burr.

First time doing any kind of weaving, oak piano bench with Danish cord. It's very tall atm as I've left it high to cut down to the right height in situ. All mortise and tenon and had to put a cross beam in the seat half way through weaving as I think I'd forgotten about physics till I noticed...
