I wear my Peltors at work (large printing firm) and they cut out so much yet still allow me to hear people shouting at me. Definitely recommend and really not expensive when you think about it.

Being stamped john green means it should be no later than around 1808 and looking at it probably 1780-90. So for £2, i think that's a bargain.
However this now brings the plane count to 80.... :-/

Great staff, great service. Prices aren't too bad but depends what you are getting. Always quality product though and will happily let you pick through stuff.
Be careful what glues are used to if it's for long term storage as many glues give off gasses that will yellow/upset paper. So long as you aren't trapping moisture inside the box or creating some kind of micro environment it will probably be ok.
Personally i'd go for one of the archival boxes...
Whilst it would take longer it's certainly possible with only basic hand tools. A large framing square to get everything plumb then a saw and hammer are more or less all you would need. Power tools just speed things up a little, sometimes!
I'd suggest trying a local builders merchants rather than wickes, i'd imagine you can knock a fair chunk off that price!
Try Manningham concrete in bradford, good service and not massively far also generally half the price!
