How old is too old ?

Boomer, Age is not a barrier to anything, unless you let it be! As for the 5yrs to be an expert, I'm a time served joiner and have been for getting on for 30 yrs and I don't consider myself an expert. Like anything else in life, there's always more to learn. The basic principles I try to teach...

    Diamond sharpening stones

Hi Has anyone got one of these stones? One of the other joiners had one and I had a go, the difference in sharpening time and sharpness was unbelievable! The downside is that they seem so expensive. The stone he had was single sided with the "diamonds" spaced about 3 or 4 mm apart. So any...

    Scheppach hf-30

Hi I have a Scheppach hf-30 spindle moulder and would like to try and get hold of a manual if possible. Is there such a thing as a site which has manuals (PDF) for older machines? I've tried a google search, but nothing specifically for the hf-30. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Steve

Something small to show future employers...

Tom TBH if you apply for a job in a joiners shop, they expect you to be able to do the job! You should'nt need proof, your word should be good enough. If you can't hack it they'll fire you! Cheers Steve
