Thanks, I’ll try it that way. The difficulty I’m facing is in slipping the belts past the end of the cutter block shaft, there is not much clearance between it and the casing.

Hi all I need to fit new belts to my recently acquired elderly Wadkin Bursgreen 12BAOS thicknesser. I’m having difficulty removing the old belts from the cutter block pulleys. Anyone have any experience of this job? Regards steve
