I have been away from the Forum for some time for family reasons. After a recent house move I have re-discovered an Incra Intelli Fence that I have never used. So far as I can see it is only missing an adjustable stop - which I have fabricated (you can see this at the right hand end of the fence...

But Gerard (with respect) the wood is pushed and the blade is stationary - that effectively means that the saw is pulled through the wood (or have I missed something???) :shock: (hammer)

I agree with Mick .. 12mm Birch ply and finger joints. Also you will need to plan where the ventilation holes/slots will be placed, such that you achieve a good flow in (cool) and out (warm). To help with this you will need to carefully plan the location of the "hot" bits - e.g. power supply...

Roger, I believe CD and DVD players usually have a pin hole (close to the eject button) through which you can poke a suitable poker to encourage the drive to eject ... HTH Dave
