    Ts55 rebq intermittent starting

Did you find a solution to this? Mines just started doing the same, and also sometimes sounds like low on power during the cut. Thanks

    Axminster BS350 Bandsaw

No I never found a copy. Did you want it for anything in particular? I've managed without so far. One thing I found odd with this saw is that the tensioning spring doesnt act to tension the spring, instead it pushes the top wheel down.

    LVLP spray gun and compressor?

5-1 is only about 16%, I think I went quite a bit more and still struggled. A decent setup is probably about £1k, I can't justify that! I have used a £30 sprayer off Amazon before and that worked pretty well to be honest, I'm not an expert at judging finish quality though. Brush n roller is...

    LVLP spray gun and compressor?

I think you should still be able to spray fine with a smaller compressor while it's charged, it will just empty quicker. Did you get a regulator to attach at the gun end? As long as this shows ~32psi (from memory for the R160) when on full trigger then it's getting enough air. I did get 1.2mm...

    LVLP spray gun and compressor?

I have this gun with an abac 50l, I struggle to get paint through it too. In the rag n bone video he seems to get lots through it using the exact same setup, so a bit frustrating!

    Ear defenders

Stihl do some Bluetooth ones, I bought a pair recently and very happy so far, £75 delivered. This video helped persuade me I think

    A Garden Gate

Excellent work! What finish will it get, if any?

Can I change keyed chuck to keyless?

I also added a keyless chuck to my Clarke pillar drill and never looked back. It was about £30 from arc euro trade

    Rust Remover for Tool Restoration

https://bilthamber.com/product/deox-c/ This stuff is also worth a look, I get on well with it and not too expensive

    Budget shop vac

I haven't made it that far yet! I could do with a spare hose as mine keeps falling off the cyclone (thus the cable ties!)

    Budget shop vac

I use a Henry, made in England, pretty bomb proof and cheap bags. Use mine with a cyclone to make the bags last even longer.

    Sloppy morticer help

I keep thinking about that, but I think it would mean the bush ends up out of round? Might still work ok though I keep thinking what I can use for thinner shim, something ~0.07mm thick. Really cheap paper might be that thin but would tear when pushing the bush in I think

    Sloppy morticer help

Thanks everyone, all good points and I know you're probably right that it's a bit too feeble to do it's job. Ollie your morticer sounds a bit more serious! After a strip, clean and reassemble properly I've found the columns don't deflect too much surprisingly. This is with a 10mm chisel, agree...

    Sloppy morticer help

I recently acquired a cheap (probably not cheap enough) morticer, it does work but seems like it should work better. Two main issues are the head is sloppy on the columns, and the columns deflect relative to the base. I think the first problem is the worst and what I seek help for. The carriage...

Calling al Axminster TS-250M-2 saw bench owners

I have the equivalent ts200 and tend to agree with Rogx - the cabinet to top alignment is less important and may only affect the lead screws binding or dust outlet clashing. The only issue I can think of that might cause your problem is the 2 dummy pins not being aligned to each other and/or...
