This is what I made for a friend. I made it with 3/4 mdf but in hindsight it might have been better in 1/2 ply or mdf. Drawer slides weren't heavy duty.

I would suggest 6 legs if you want to make the size 8' x 4', also make the legs taller as I find the originals a bit low. Quite frankly the original is enough to support a 8' x 4' x 18mmsheet.
Most of my info comes from the Decks Design (USA) site (https://www.decks.com/deck-designer) which specified 6"x6" posts. I'll put plenty of support to stop racking

I would use "Concrete Godfather Support Posts" concreted into the ground, then bolt the wooden posts to them. Cover the exposed concrete in thin timber with rounded corners to protect the children. Easy to replace.
