Thank you, that's good to know, if I have the misfortune to have to use mdf again I'll bear it in mind :)

    MDF Spraying

Not sure, we used 2k filler which I would have thought would be pretty stable. It may be the solvent from the filler trapped underneath in the fibres trying to off-gas after painting, and physically pushing the filler out, but didn't do too much experimenting as I just changed the construction...

    A BUSINESS QUESTION

For them to get it cheaper they would need to obligate to a certain number from you, if that is possible, and commit to an appropriate payment schedule

    MDF Spraying

In my own experience of spraying mdf, we used mrmdf and pva glued the edges first. We used high build 2k primer, base coat and lacquer, all with proper booth and ventilation etc. All I would warn against with mdf is any filled screw holes will swell, no matter how carefully you fill and...

    Multico M1 Morticer

Hi John, Thanks mate, the weight will deffo need adjusting as it hits the pillar base well before 210mm. The sizes I mentioned further up the thread was with regard to the chisel section size, If I need to go much deeper than 70mm I just spin the timber over because of the cutting length of the...

    Multico M1 Morticer

Thanks mate, much appreciated 8) Yes mate it comes with the stand. Only issue I could see with it is that the weight inside the rear pillar is hanging a bit low, therefore restricting its upper most travel. It will be interesting to see how easy it is to access the weight for adjustmest...

    Multico M1 Morticer

I can get a pic early next week, it's in another workshop at the mo. I have a multico planer which is a great piece of kit, so I'm sure the morticer will be good as well. It all depends on what it's cutting capacity is, the Axi is 16mm hardwood, 19mm softwood, I'm hoping the multico would be the...
