A little truth for a change.

    Well said.

A little truth for a change.

The well-mannered, on topic debate was nice while it lasted.

    Speed Awareness Course

One explanation for this I've heard is that some drivers have trouble parking accurately between the lines in an unoccupied area and find it easier to park next to another car. I can believe that nowadays.

Are EV's good value? Apparently not!

That's quite an assumption. I've been a petrol head since I was a kid and currently, at 73, still drive my MX-5 (a 2-seater sports car) every chance I get. But I'd love an EV for a daily driver. For my needs it would be perfect.

    One of Yorkshire's greatest achievements.

It must be true, you read it on the internet!

    Rats in a trap...

Good for you. Live and let live. We had a female cat that used to bring mice in, unharmed, from the garden in the evenings and drop them at our feet. Something to do with teaching kittens to hunt. Anyway, we had a biscuit tin with holes in the top the kids christened the 'mouse hotel' that we...

a new era of low cost, accessible and efficient heating?

Amazon Photos: free £15 - what's the catch?

£15 for 'free'. I'm guessing I've spent that much, which is why I received the offer. That makes a lot of sense, thank you.

Amazon Photos: free £15 - what's the catch?

It's a £15 voucher. There is no trial period as such. As I said, I'm guessing they'll start charging for it some time in the future.

    Glazing

I replaced the ancient putty in my concrete garage windows a few years ago with linseed putty and it's still fine. I learned how to do it back in the early 70s when I worked on building sites. So, I guess, at least in my experience, the answer is no.

Amazon Photos: free £15 - what's the catch?

Not a problem - they're already backed up to google and half a dozen other local devices.

Amazon Photos: free £15 - what's the catch?

I'm being offered £15 to sign up for Amazon Photos online storage, as a Prime member. No strings attached (apparently). Now, my dear old Irish mother always taught me that nothing worth having is ever free, so what's the catch? I'm guessing they want to sign up as many people as possible and...

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

    I don't think it's mad at all.

Just to stir the pot, has anyone noticed...

Central hating should be the motto of the Brexit Party.
