    It was part of an extension rebuilding with lots of new windows so it was a little hard to quantify in flat terms. I doubled the square footage of the house and reduced the heating bill… and the house feels warmer.

    They only stopped manufacture of these 4 years ago. There is another company in Italy who appears to have taken over their production if you get stuck but most parts are standard. Let me know if you need the contact and I will have a root through my files

    Record and Electra machines are both made in China, spares should be available No spares available for kity machines (they also had special blades on some models) I would suggest try to find a used Record Power or Startrite machine. I think used Sedgwick PTs are now commanding a higher price.
