I bought some things from Germany a few weeks ago… I had to pay VAT on top at 20% on import but the people I bought from TOOK OFF the 19% German tax…. Sounded and seemed good…. But then I got a bill with handling charges on top from UPS which I had to pay plus the delivery took nearly 3 weeks...

Max Sedgwick TA315 is an Excellent machine for solid wood. They used to be supplied with the sliding table as standard, since last year it became an optional extra. Sedgwick have just announced another price rise btw so hurry if your thinking about a new one as there are a few left in the system...

Record and Electra machines are both made in China, spares should be available No spares available for kity machines (they also had special blades on some models) I would suggest try to find a used Record Power or Startrite machine. I think used Sedgwick PTs are now commanding a higher price.
