    Newbie - Advice re Thicknesser / floorboards

    If you punch all the nails as deep as you can prior to barring them up you'll find they will less stubborn to remove, if you put them through a thicknesser you may find the glossed side causes a problem with the feed roller, maybe, try one i guess, could be loads of work for little return if the...

    Cordless drill batteries expiring !

    I still use some B&D Proline cordless drills that are at least 20 years old with same batteries, really was good quality the Proline/Professional range of power tools :D

    Metabo and Porter Cable are very good and not as expensive as Festool, i honestly think Festool command a scene tax similar to volkswagen vans which i could never work out :?

    Axes

    I had a gorgeous Gilping hand axe/hatchet with leather bound curved handle when i was serving my time until some scumbag maggots stole my gear :evil: , god i miss that axe and would dearly love another, btw the laminated handle on yours is nice imho :wink:
