    Thanks for the replies. The issue with a single purpose surface grinder is space really. I only have a shed sized workshop so while the items are expensive they do cut down on space used.

    Hi fellas. As the title says I am after a blade about 2mm wide.. Most coping saw blades are less than a millimeter so I am looking fir one that can cut a 2mm or so channel, so that I can press fit an approximately 2mm twisted silver wire wrap. Any ideas?

    Update. I got a Devil Forge thing from Poland ( very nice guys, prompt and the item looks good) only i wondered what specific gas and size container I should get in order to use it effectively?

    The knife blade is about nine inches Tom. Of course I can close the front. I'm using firebricks. I don't have back opening, but I could. Seems to me though since the attempt at heat treat went so appallingly bad that would reduce the heat accumulation even more. I just don't think the torch...
