What a brilliant forum! Thanks very much to everyone who has responded. The pictures that Dalboy pointed out are practically spot-on, so Coronet No 1 or No 2 it has to be. I can't imagine that the diameter of the bed bars is absolutely critical, so I'll see what the local steel fabricator can...

Can you help me identify this lathe? The castings are labelled "Coronet Sheffield England", but there isn't a model number. As you can see, I need to organise some bed bars. Can anyone tell me what the diameter should be? Thanks in advance for any information.
