Do I need a two motor extractor?

As Sideways has said " For your tracksaw, ROS and Router, a 2 motor extractor won't make any difference. One is plenty " One day you will be looking out for a thicknesser or planner or router table, that's when you will benefit from 2 motors and a 100mm pipe, If you plan on a Camvac and cyclone...

    FFX discount code

The FFX codes and discounts are a scam, I bought something from them 2 weeks back on ebay with 10% discount, one week ago they then offered the exact same thing with 15% discount but had put the price up by £90, be careful and don't rush in for a "bargain" as they will rob you blind without...

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

If you are going to do the same, gravity is your friend, put the pipe work on the bottom, and make it 100mm, oh and get a 100mm cyclone, cleaning out camvacs is not nice

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

The Camvac will be more than happy to work on just a 27mm pipe, everything cut against the fence will have more than enough room to work as it should, and when "trenching" as soon as the cut is made there is room for air flow as the cut piece is no longer there, the only time you are likely to...

Successful router dust collection with CamVac

Air flow is not needed for cooling, I had almost exactly the same set up with an old scheppach 1hp on 4" pipe, worked a treat for over ten years with no holes in it, holes are only needed to stop the suction from the work being moved over the cutter

    Wild fires in BC Canada.

Exactly, bearing in mind it only takes one moron to start a fire and the fact that even if this country reverted back to the stone age tomorrow morning nothing would change

    Router table problem

Always go from right to left ALWAYS, it's just a matter of time and it wont be long, that wood is going to get grabbed and you will automatically try to stop it, problem is it wont be there anymore, just a very sharp spinny thing traveling at 20000 rpm, hopefully you will only ever do it once though

    Camvac and 32mm hoses.

Yep been there got that T-shirt, fast learning curve, all my gear is now bolted down and steel pipes, far too much umph for a sander on 2 motors, even with the Festool vacs you can turn them down so the sander can breath and they are only one motor

    Camvac and 32mm hoses.

The only thing that happened was the flex hose shorted to it's shortest length, your drum would have been perfectly OK, now had you had a blockage then it wouldn't matter even if you had steel pipe your drum would have gone bang, pressure relief valve is a must.

    Wheel chair ramp

Thanks for all the reply's, The thing is my misses runs a small private hospital so I get roped into a lot of things, having talked to her about it a bit more she has decided to talk with "the management" about the dropped curb idea, seems a lot safer than anything I can provide
