    Need help with Chuck choice, please

    I have a Patriot Chuck. Had it since I began six years ago. Good quality and worth the money. Changing to different sized jaws, can be a bit of a pain, but that's because I am impatient. Overall, it's a good sturdy chuck.

    Quick removal of hardwood

    Depending on your location, I am a lathe Turner. My Coronet lathe would accept 3' or 900mm between centres. Have not done any spindle work for awhile though.

    I am trying to buy white alumonium oxide grinding wheel for tool sharpening, what grit shall I buy? 80, 100 or more. There are some cheap on ebay for just £5. Are they any good? Don’t go for the e bay cheapies. I bought an alli oxide 120 grit from Axminster. It comes with several inserts...
