    Smallest possible downstairs toilet

If it is only for pee, and not for the garden, how about a urinal rather than proper toilet assembly? Especially useful for males with dodgy prostates - my uncle had one (the urinal, that is, not the dodgy prostate)

    Woodhaven2 heads up

Works fine for me - Win 7 + Firefox - just had to allow the site in NoScript. Anyone with issues - maybe flush your cookies and cache?

    Multitool advice

I use Blue Bosch for cutting and sanding - the old model - the new one looks much better - however, it does not offer dust extraction when sanding. For that I use a delta pad on a Rotex 90 - but beware the sanding paper is not compatible - Festool have done their own thing with the holes...

But unless I am missing something, there is no Daylight Saving Time in force on December 21st - it ends in October?

    Joke Thread 4

They do. I just got hit with CHF22 + VAT by Fedex for a VAT take of just over CHF6. This was shipped from Japan - and eBay suggested VAT was included in the shipping costs (as Amazon also do) - so someone is getting some negative feedback.

    Backup software recomendation

Two questions to one and all - like a survey perhaps: How many have tested you can restore what you have backed up - and I mean a proper restore, not just a verification using the tool? How many back up to something that does not sit next to your computer / in your house?

    First seeds of 2024

You have a taste for hot chillies! Are the lamps special horticultural jobbies balanced for plants or just ordinary ones?

I did drop a few hints...

BOSE - Buy Other Sound Equipment. Ask anyone with the QC25 problems about "customer service" to find out why if you don't already know.

    Buying from EU

I get the impression there is a lot of scorched earth taking place - like in trade deals. No going back!

    Buying from EU

Major ratified Maastrict without a referendum - leading to the formation of the Referendum Party and UKIP. Merkel completely failed to identify the way the wind was blowing and offered Cameron crumbs as part of his renegotiation. Had she had the gumption to go with something akin to Macron's...
