    Hardwood Haul

    Hi Naz Word of warning.... be careful using that stuff. the chemicals in the laminate are highly toxic and scrollsaw blades being so fine brings out the worst of them. I had to spend a night in A+E after cutting some of those a few years back Regards Brendan PS. Sorry ,not trying top rain on...

    Dust Extraction

    I use ash vac's , one for the top dust and one for the underneath dust. I run my saw for 8-10 hours most days and I find the ash vacs the best.     Hi Daloray I sell at craft markets ,and anything animal related sells well, practical items such as key holders, leash holders etc. Another good seller and cheap to make ,is key rings. I sell mine @ €4.95 and have worked out that they only cost approx €0.50 to make. Regards Brendan

    if your buying blade clamps get a quick release clamp for the top . I have varible speed and never use it so I wouldn't worry on that score Regards Brendan

    Foot Operated ON/OFF switch

    I use a foot switch on an extension cord so the saw and two dust extractors stop running at the same time ,I wouldn't be without it Brendan

    newbie here saying hello

    Hello and welcome to the best site for wood workers!! For making patterns you can use free software like inkscape or Gimp. Even Microsoft word is very good for word art. If your budget stretches to it I would recommend buying a Hegner scroll saw. Regards Brendan

    ARE YOU THICK

    Hi Malcolm I use all hard woods , oak ,walnut, white oak, ash and teak . I get them thicknessed to 18mm and use mostly No 5 or No 7 ultra reverse. I use a good thick clear packing tape as lubricant for the blade. Regards Brendan
