INCRA LS32TSM Tablesaw fence for sale ... never used

A couple of years back, I bought the LS32TSM INCRA tablesaw fence system from Rutlands . My intention was to install it onto my Grizzly tablesaw which I had shipped back from the States, but what with one thing and another I never did get round to it. I am currently having to downsize my shop...

    Do I need a Band-saw and a Table-saw?

tbh, I don't see anything too shudder-inducing about cutting coves on a tablesaw using an angled fence, like Mattias Wandel is doing in that video ... it was standard practice in the States to cut crown moldings like that when I worked there. What did take me aback on my very first day in an...

    Do I need a Band-saw and a Table-saw?

Could you clarify what it is that makes you shudder ... I am having trouble visualising exactly what you mean. TIA.

Opinions sought on a buyer/seller dispute.

I recently sold , on Gumtreee, an Emco DB5 woodturning lathe. I purchased this lathe (pre-owned) with the intention of doing some metal spinning, but that never happened, and the lathe had very perfunctory use during the time I owned it. On the rare occasions it was used, it performed...

    Whetstones - Accuracy of grading?

There is no historical justification, AFAIK, for restricting the term "whetstone" to oilstones. "Whet" is an ancient word meaning to sharpen , and whetstone is just a synonym for a sharpening stone. Oilstones or waterstones, they are both whetstones.

    Cutting down a riving knife.

The tablesaw I use is one which I purchased new in the States ...a Grizzly 1023 left-tilting saw, which I shipped back here in 2002. It doesn't have a facility for fitting a riving knife (although the modern versions do have a riving knife). If I had the choice again, I would in fact choose to...

    Cutting down a riving knife.

I have never quite "got" this UK fixation with riving knives. I worked for many years in cabinet shops in the US back in the 90's and the riving knife was non-existent... leastways at that time, although I believe the H&S mafia have implemented some changes since my day. Admittedly, almost...

    Planing, do you use pushbocks?

I have no idea how you come by the notion that HSE ban the use of push blocks. On the contrary, the usage of push blocks is in fact advised, especially when machining shorter workpieces. Here is a snip from the relevant HSE regulations.

What would this pattern be called?

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't the two spirals in a double helix both have the same handedness?

Triton MOF001 - to buy or not to buy!

Yes you are right ... it was in fact the TRA001 I was contemplating buying ...I got the model numbers mixed up. I have actually decided to buy an ex-demo model ... I am sure I can make the aperture .larger if it's less than 52mm diameter.
