    Advice requested on a thicknesser

Yeah those scam DeWalt ones are such a pain... The scheppach plm1800 I got came with spare blades from Woodford tooling.com I had a look at the site and it looks like they do a lot of blades for various machines, although I couldn't see vevor tbh. Might be worth looking depending on what model...

    Advice requested on a thicknesser

I'll second that, definitely keep an eye out on FB market place and fleabay, it can take a long time to find the right machine at the right price in the right location. I almost broke and bought the titan, but I really wanted something like the Triton letterbox (TP125?) . I got lucky on FB with...

for those with a VB or better lathe...

This reminds me of a video I saw of bowls being made from a jig in a bandsaw set at 45°, then reconstituted in reverse to put the discs together as a bowl, then turned to finish the job. I found the link if anyone fancied a go 😁

    Thin Parting Tools

There are a few online videos of people making parting tools from circular saw blades, so that's also an option? I've got one of those Bosch reciprocating saws (PSA700?) and used an old blade to make a thin one...

    Wanted Stabilizing wood

I have looked at pressure and vacuum chambers, Ben's worx made an interesting video about using pipe, I guess 100mm stuff looking at the video, but always be careful about overloading and having a safety method in case the thing pops. The second link is Nick Wright, similar plan but on a bigger...

    electrickery.....

Just my two penn'rth :) The Turbines have 2 basic configurations, where the low voltage (>1000v) is transformed up to the HV. in some turbines it's TX'd in a separate external building co-located with each turbine (with bigger turbines, this can also be in the (large) base of the turbine). In...
