I'm not sure where in South Wales you are but look up Repair Cafe on Facebook. It's a free service and this is exactly the sort of thing they would repair for you.

They are an off shoot from Kingspan from what I can see. I've been looking at one of the buildings for my homebrew setup. Basically, it is Kingspan insulation sandwiched between 2 x 0.5mm sheets of treated steel. They reckon it is impossible for the steel to rust due to the process it goes...
Hi all,
I'm planning to replace a length of worktop in our kitchen with some solid wood worktop, probably beech. I plan to protect the surface with Top Oil but was wondering about the cut edges where I let in the sink and hob. Is Top Oil sufficient for these as well or do they need something...
I had a similar issue but on Win 10 following a regular update. Turned out the user profile was corrupted. There were instructions on how to restore it (editing the registry) and it was easy to sort.
I don't know Vista but have a search for corrupt user profiles.

Excellent, many thanks Arwyn. I used to go to the Seat garage in Pontyberem so not much further. I'm hoping they will start to ease the lockdown this week so I can get out to Nev's and will give you a call about arranging a visit. Thanks again.

That's a very generous offer Nev which I'll take you up on. Let me know your favourite charity and I'll make a donation in your name. I'll PM you for contact details.
Many thanks,
Mark
Derek,
I've only been turning a year so very new still. I have loads of cherry stored. Couple of quick questions. Would you expect much movement in that piece as it was turned wet? What is the advantage of wet sanding, other than less dust I guess?
Thanks in advance.
