I no longer spray any panels so my pair of spraying racks aren’t necessary any more.
Bought them a couple of years ago from Morrells, they come with the painted metal bars but I also bought the plastic bar protectors as an extra.
Very strong and sturdy box section construction

As part of my workshop tidy up I’ve also decided to sell this Sumaco bandsaw.
It’s a well used machine but with a good blade cuts most things without trouble. Comes on a stand but can easily be taken off.
Will include a few blades to get you going, blades are 96” long IIRC
The Machine is in...
I’ve decided to sell my Multico freestanding morticer. I’ve owned the machine for over 10 years now and it has been faultless, giving me consistently square and true mortices. I’ve been using it less and less lately and the space could be better used so here we are.
It’s a well used machine...
Morning all,
Ive decided its time to upgrade my bench, being in the trade time has always been of most importance so a door blank fixed to some modified dexion racking has done me Ok. I now would like a bench with some proper work holding provisions. After some quick googling I've come across a...
Morning all,
Been asked by a friend of mine to try and sort out a house name sign.
The approx sizes are 30"x12" with 4 words to be machined into it.
I can supply the timber, which will be Oak but I need someone who will be able to do the machining.
I'm in Bedfordshire but willing to travel...
I run a commercial workshop, and I have deep ripped timber on a number of occasions. quite what is illegal about it I don't know. my riving knife is set millimetres below the height of the saw blade so I can pass material over without it being a problem. my dust extraction is attached to the...
I think I've attached a photo of my 3 drills, left to right are bhp451 3speed combi, bhp452 2speed combi and bdf452 2speed drill driver. I can only assume the prefix bhp indicates a combi drill and bdf a drill driver.

Looking on the Makita website, the BHP456RFE is a combi hammer drill. The equivalent drill/driver would be the BDF452RFE. I have that drill driver myself and its an excellent work horse. I purchased that specifically for the compact length compared to a combi drill & also the weight saving.
you weren't clamping the boards edge to edge were you? I've had this before where the clamp touches the wood and glue resulting in a small black mark

Hi John,
I've used both melamine faced mdf and chipboard for carcasses. see if there is a price difference between them. every mass produced kitchen carcass will be chipboard. happy edging!

I had assumed that both being offered for sale was so that you could stack 2 blocks with a spacer in the middle so you complete both sides in one pass, and create a uniform thickness tongue to fit into the groove .

tulip wood/ poplar would be another choice to do it in solid. machines up very nicely and paints extremely well. would need machining up to dimensions before moulding
