Good to know you've come back to the forum Geoff.
As a wise man once said "Don't let the barstewards get you down" :!:
Keep going with the constructive advice you've given a lot of people and ignore those that don't return the favour.

Nice to hear you're keeping busy Geoff.
Unfortunately I have to agree about the FD blades , my last batch of #5 blades are doing the same but the #3 seem ok.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Kierri
If you want to try a couple of Mikes blades pop down and I'll let you have a couple of each.
If you PM me I'll give you my address assuming you can manage the mileage to St Annes :!: :D

Hi Steve
Had similar problem with top clamp myself
Rectified it by rubbing some sandpaper in gap on both sides
It seems that the gripping part of the clamp gets smooth after a while and roughing the surface seems to help
Regards
Martin
Yes
I have a Hegner now but started with a Scheppach Decoflex that shook itself , the bench and everything around it all over the workshop.
The reason I asked where you are is if you're local to me you could possibly try a decent machine so that you have some idea what it is you're looking...
