    Screw extractors that actually work

    My useag is generally getting wood or masonry screws out where they have rounded out. I have had no success in getting the threaded part to bite into the pilot hole, I am wondering if they are just made of chinesium which is softer that the screws themselves.

    Can someone recommend me a set of screw extractors that actually work. I have tried a couple of sets with zero success. Additionally is there a knack to using them as I am not above user error causing the failures.

    Wet a tee shirt as the evaporation will cool you off, we have cool coats for the dogs which work on the same principle, they appreciate it.

    What is this drainage pipe called?

    Funnily enough removed some pitch fibre today and replaced with the more usual 110mm plastic. Mine was totally encased in concrete as apparently that is how they stopped it getting crushed, nowadays just pea shingle, used simple rubber connectors from one to the other an all's good.
