I accidentally cut into the under fence support, taking about 2mm off. Now it's spot on.

Peter Millard at 10 minute workshop on YouTube, episode 143, makes a table top from birch ply using 2 x 12mm and 1 x 15mm laminated ribs for strength. This might work for you?
