    Fisherman's priest

I was asked to make a fisherman's priest for a friend. Now not being an angler I had no idea so had a look online for ideas. So had a plan in my head and started turning. My first attempt looked more like a billy club  So when my friend gave a better idea of what it was meant to be like I...

    Reviving wax

I have a few small sample pots of "Hampshire Sheen" Embellishing wax which are quite full. However I bought them before the covid lock down, and now when I went to use them again they all have dried out and are unusable. Is their any way of reviving them so I can use them or are they dead?

    Turning plywood

I have made a couple wooden mugs from various materials, and now I wish to try using plywood to make a mug but I am nor sure if it is possible. Has anyone else done a project using ply and if so how successful or unsuccessful was it?

Post a photo of the last thing you made

Been experimenting with segmented mug. Niece seen my first attempt and wanted one for herself....... First one is oak then her name burnt into it, second one is Iroko with thin strips of oak. Think some more are on the cards.

    New bandsaw

    New bandsaw

Hi Im knew to this forum. I do have a question. The workshop I am in has taken delivery of a brand new bandsaw. When you rub your hand over the table it feels smooth in one direction and rough in the opposite ( the direction you would feed the wood) I am of the opinion that the manufacturer...
